Although this is certainly not what I was expecting, it is a treat. br / br /As Barlowgirl is a band that normally rocks with the best of them, I was expecting rock and roll versions of these Christmas tunes. It is not that. br / br /Rather, these are done in the classic style of holiday songs. Combined with the beautiful voices and superb harmonies of Barlowgirl and it becomes a real work of art. All of these songs are very good. There are no weak links. The Barlow sisters have demonstrated that they are very diverse along with being great rockers. br / br /If you want a great Christmas CD, this would be a good one to get.

If you're looking for some nice Christmas music this holiday, you've found it here. I wish it would have included a bonus cd of rock versions of these songs in the vein of their version of 'O Holy Night' that is on a different compilation, but that's ok this is still great!
